How much does the 2024 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,059 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 BMW 3 Series stands out because it blends performance, handling, and luxury in a versatile four-door sedan, while still offering a wide range of personalities from the 330i to the M3. It also brings useful everyday appeal through standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air software updates, and an available head-up display. For you, that means a premium sports sedan that can still work as a practical daily driver. With 38.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2024 BMW 3 Series is described as a complex and expensive car to buy and own, but it also benefits from a current infotainment system, a redesigned dashboard, and a well-developed lineup that helps keep it feeling modern. Its standard safety setup includes frontal collision warning with city collision mitigation, while other driver-assistance features are bundled into an optional package. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher complexity can mean higher repair and maintenance exposure if the car has been neglected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of wear, prior damage, and uneven maintenance. Pay close attention to the cabin, electronics, and cargo area condition, since this model leans heavily on technology and can be expensive to sort out if something has been overlooked. If you are considering a 330e, make sure the battery-related packaging and cargo-space tradeoffs still fit your needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,059 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,637, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $36,684 sits slightly below last year's $36,891.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For you as a future seller, that can be a good sign because it points to predictable pricing instead of a sudden drop in value. It also means condition, mileage, and trim choice will likely matter more than broad market movement when you decide to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,676, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,684 average.
• It adds refreshed styling and updated cabin technology.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,424, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,684 average.
• It refines the driving experience with even more polished tech.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the best balance of current-market pricing, strong satisfaction, and broad inventory. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the smarter value play because it delivers a refreshed 3 Series experience for less money.
