How much does the 2024 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,062 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — 5/5. The 2024 BMW 3 Series stands out because it blends performance, handling, and luxury in a compact sedan package. It also offers a wide spread of powertrains, so you can shop for an everyday luxury sedan that still feels genuinely sporty. The cabin is practical enough for a small family, and the technology updates help it feel current. With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive price.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 BMW 3 Series is presented as a well-rounded luxury sedan with modern tech, a broad range of versions, and everyday usability. Its appeal comes from combining sharp driving manners with premium features rather than from a stripped-down formula. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that equipment can vary a lot from car to car, so condition and feature content matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage or inconsistent repairs. Pay extra attention to the condition and equipment level, since safety features can be uneven on used examples. It also makes sense to focus on the cabin, cargo area, and any optional driver-assistance features so you know exactly what you are getting.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,062 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,505, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $36,601 sits slightly below last year's $36,793.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to predictable demand and fewer signs of sudden value erosion. It also means your resale outcome will likely depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market movement.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,436, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,601 average.
• It adds a refreshed cabin and updated tech.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,343, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,601 average.
• It adds refinements and keeps the driving experience strong.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price stability, inventory, and broad appeal, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you want to spend less upfront while still getting a modern 3 Series.
