How much does the 2024 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,112 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 BMW 3 Series. The overview points to a car that blends performance, handling, and luxury while still working as an everyday four-door sedan. You also get a wide range of personalities, from the 330i to the M340i and M3, plus a cabin that stays practical enough for daily use even if the back seat is a little tight.

That mix makes it appealing if you want a premium sports sedan that still feels usable. 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a well-rounded car with updated technology, standard wireless smartphone integration, over-the-air updates, and a cabin that feels current. It also notes standard frontal collision warning with city collision mitigation, though some driver-assistance features are optional.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is still a complex and expensive luxury car to buy and maintain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks electronics, software behavior, and overall condition. Pay close attention to the cabin, cargo area, and any signs that optional equipment or driver-assistance features may not be working as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without waiting forever.

• Deal availability: 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,749, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $37,309 sits slightly above last year's $37,190.

That small increase suggests the market has stayed stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to steady demand and fewer signs of rapid depreciation pressure.

The 3 Series also benefits from strong buyer interest as a premium sports sedan with broad appeal across trims. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,201, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,309 average.
• It adds a refreshed cabin and updated tech.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,691, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,309 average.
• It refines the formula with even more polished driving enjoyment.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, strong inventory, and broad appeal, the 2024 is the primary pick. If your budget matters most, the 2023 is the smarter value play. If you want the newest version and can spend more, the 2025 is the better upgrade path.
