Why it stands out
The 2024 Audi A5 stands out as a stylish luxury car that blends a premium feel with a practical body style. By this point in the second generation, Audi had already broadened the A5 lineup beyond the original coupe formula, and the model’s appeal came from its sleek design, available hatchback utility, and upscale cabin. It also offered a strong mix of standard equipment, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a reputation for being a comfortable, well-equipped choice in its class.
For 2024, Audi added extra standard driver-assistance technology, including adaptive cruise control and a lane-assist function. The A5’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine was paired with a mild hybrid system for this model year, and the car continued to send power to all four wheels through Audi’s rear-biased quattro AWD system. That combination helped the A5 feel polished and secure, while the available Sportback body style gave it more everyday usefulness than a traditional coupe.
There are tradeoffs, though. The A5 was not the most powerful or most spacious option in its segment, and the coupe’s back seat was cramped. Even so, the 2024 Audi A5 remained appealing for buyers who wanted a refined, good-looking luxury car with useful technology and a more versatile shape than many rivals.

It stands out as a stylish luxury car with a premium feel, a practical body style, and a well-equipped cabin, and it also brings standard tech like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For 2024, Audi added more standard driver-assistance technology, including adaptive cruise control and lane assist, while the available Sportback body style gives you more everyday usefulness than a traditional coupe. Is the 2024 Audi A5 reliable?
Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2024 A5’s overview points to a polished, secure driving experience thanks to its turbocharged four-cylinder engine, mild hybrid system, and rear-biased quattro all-wheel drive. It also comes with a strong mix of standard equipment, which can help reduce the chance that you’ll feel shortchanged after purchase. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you should still verify condition carefully, since luxury-car upkeep can become more expensive if prior maintenance was inconsistent.
What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A5?

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm that the car’s records match its condition and mileage. Put inspection priority on the cabin, electronics, and body style-specific practicality, especially if you want the Sportback’s added usefulness. Focus on overall wear and maintenance consistency so you can separate a well-kept example from one that may have been used hard.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A5 or consider a different year?

- 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
- Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
The bottom line: The 2024 Audi A5 is the better choice if you want the strongest mix of satisfaction, clean inventory, and updated standard driver-assistance tech in this range. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2024 gives you a compelling balance of value and condition to target first.
