Is the 2024 Audi A4 a good car?

The 2024 Audi A4 stands out as a well-rounded compact luxury sedan with a strong mix of technology, performance, and everyday usability. It pairs a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with a mild-hybrid drivetrain, and it also offers optional quattro all-wheel drive if you want extra traction and a more confident feel in poor weather.

Audi’s Virtual Cockpit and the 10.1-inch MMI touch screen help the cabin feel modern, even as the model nears the end of its production run. The A4 also has practical appeal for shoppers who want a premium German sedan that balances efficiency, available all-wheel drive, and polished cabin tech. 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Audi A4 reliable?

The 2024 Audi A4 is presented as a mature, well-rounded model with a settled formula and a strong technology story. It combines a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, a mild-hybrid drivetrain, and available all-wheel drive, which points to a car that was engineered to serve as a polished daily driver.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a premium sedan with this kind of technology and drivetrain complexity can become more expensive to keep in top shape as it ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi A4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a car with limited service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of prior bodywork, and whether the cabin tech and drivetrain feel consistent with the car’s age and mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Audi A4?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 606 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.62% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,116, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Audi A4's resale value?

The current average of $26,163 sits slightly below last year's $29,601.

That drop suggests the A4 has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be good news if you’re buying used. For a future seller, it means you should expect resale value to remain sensitive to mileage, condition, and how well the car has been maintained. If you keep the car clean and well documented, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi A4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.62% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 Audi A4 is the better primary choice if you want a modern-feeling compact luxury sedan with a softer used price and a decent pool of listings to shop. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a similar car offers a lower entry point, but the 2024 already looks attractive for buyers who want a balanced mix of value and premium features.
