Why it stands out
The 2023 Toyota 4Runner stands out with its rugged, traditional SUV design and remarkable off-road capabilities that appeal to adventure seekers. With a powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine delivering 270 horsepower, it can handle a variety of terrains, making it an excellent choice for off-road driving. This year, Toyota has introduced the 40th Anniversary Special Edition, enhancing its allure with unique styling cues that pay homage to its heritage. Despite its age, the 4Runner maintains a high level of reliability and comfort, making it a popular choice among owners. However, it's worth noting its less-than-stellar fuel economy and safety ratings, which might deter some potential buyers looking for a more modern option.
