There’s good space across the first two rows, but adults may not be as comfortable in the third-row seat. ## Technology Tesla bypasses Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in favor of its own interface, but its system becomes easier to use with practice. The 17-inch touchscreen handles nearly every vehicle control and system, and the display brings several great features, including Bluetooth, SiriusXM radio, wireless charging, HD radio, and more. ## Safety The Model X hasn’t been tested by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) yet, but it comes packed with advanced driver aids and tech, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-departure alerts, lane-keep assist, and much more. Buyers can also add one of Tesla’s advanced driving systems that bring temporary hands-free driving for a steep price. ## Pricing The Tesla Model X starts at $98,490 and climbs to $108,490 with the performance Plaid model. The price tag can grow even larger with options, of which there are a few. The Autopilot and “full self-driving” features can add as much at $15,000 to the bottom line.
