Is the 2023 RAM ProMaster a good car?

Is the 2023 RAM ProMaster reliable?

For used buyers, that means you should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition, since reliability risk on a work-focused vehicle often comes down to how it was used and cared for.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 RAM ProMaster?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should also prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the van shows signs of heavy commercial use or high mileage. Focus on body condition, cargo-area wear, and evidence of consistent maintenance so you can separate a well-kept example from one that has been worked hard.

What is the 2023 RAM ProMaster's resale value?

The current average of $28,296 sits slightly below last year's $30,436.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the van is maintained and documented. If you keep mileage, condition, and service records in good shape, you improve your odds of holding value when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 RAM ProMaster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

The 2023 is a sensible choice if you want a model year with softer pricing, decent inventory, and strong owner feedback. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge.
