For used buyers, that means your biggest ownership risk is less about broad reputation and more about the specific vehicle’s maintenance history and current condition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 RAM ProMaster?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,487 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 79.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,480, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 RAM ProMaster's resale value?

The current average of $27,480 sits slightly below last year's $30,255.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the current pricing trend favors buyers more than sellers. Still, a well-kept example should hold up better than one with visible wear or a rough history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 RAM ProMaster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better primary target if you want a year with strong owner satisfaction, decent deal availability, and a softer price trend. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, history, and asking price.
