Is the 2022 RAM ProMaster a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 RAM ProMaster reliable?

For used buyers, that kind of feedback suggests lower ownership risk than you might expect, especially if you verify maintenance history and overall condition before buying.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 RAM ProMaster?

At 74.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate you’re serious about and prioritize listings with clean records. A pre-purchase inspection matters here, especially if you’re comparing multiple vans with similar pricing. Focus on body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 RAM ProMaster?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,741 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.55% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 74.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $24,319, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 RAM ProMaster's resale value?

The current average of $24,319 sits slightly below last year's $27,494.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale more sensitive to mileage, condition, and documentation. If you buy at a strong price now and keep the vehicle well maintained, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell. A clean history and solid upkeep matter more when the broader market is already softening.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 RAM ProMaster or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.55% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 makes sense if you want a year with softer pricing and a decent number of deal opportunities, especially if you can verify condition carefully. If you’re more price-sensitive, the best path is to focus on the cleanest, best-documented listings rather than chasing the lowest sticker price alone.
