Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches its listing details. Focus on how the car has been used and maintained, not just how it looks in photos.

What is the 2023 Porsche Macan's resale value?

The current average of $49,358 sits slightly below last year's $55,094.

That price movement suggests the Macan has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right price today. A softer market now may also create a better entry point for you, which can improve your odds of holding value later. Strong demand for well-kept examples should continue to support resale, especially for buyers who want a premium compact SUV with a sporty reputation.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Macan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $45,034, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $49,358 average.
• It emphasizes sporty driving feel and fresh updates.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the newer pricing context, strong inventory quality, and broad owner approval. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value path and still delivers the Macan’s core appeal.
