Should I buy a 2023 Polestar 2 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 41.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.23% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $20,550, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $24,433 average.
• The 2022 offers a stylish, premium-feeling entry into Polestar’s EV lineup.

Consider the 2024 if:

• The 2024 adds range, styling, and powertrain updates.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the strongest mix of current pricing, deal availability, and clean inventory. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused alternative.
