Power is routed to the front wheels through Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT), which features a manual mode with simulated tap-shift “gears.” In the S and SV trims, this powertrain returns fuel economy of 29 mpg city, 39 highway, and 33 combined. The SR Premium Package adds an 8-speaker Bose premium stereo system. ## Safety Nissan provides a handful of standard driver-assistance features on the Sentra.
