Used 2023 Nissan Maxima for Sale nearColumbus, OH

How much does the 2023 Nissan Maxima cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 401 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare on price, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2023 Nissan Maxima a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2023 Maxima stands out as a sedan that still leans hard into Nissan’s long-running “Four-door sports car” identity, with a 3.5-liter V6, 300 horsepower, and handling sharpened by larger sway bars. It is described as more relaxed than truly thrilling, but that balance can work well if you want quick acceleration and composed everyday driving rather than a hard-edged sport sedan.

It also brings a strong list of standard equipment and safety tech, including an 8-inch color display with navigation, plus available driver-assistance features on higher trims. The main tradeoff is space, since the back seat and trunk are not especially generous. With 30.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a compelling value.

Is the 2023 Nissan Maxima reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2023 Maxima also comes across as well equipped, with standard safety and convenience content that supports everyday use, and the overview highlights a strong safety record with repeated IIHS recognition. Its V6 powertrain and composed tuning suggest a car built to deliver consistent daily driving rather than constant drama.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright character and more about making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and still feels tight, since condition will matter more than the model’s basic formula.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Nissan Maxima?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a history report to confirm the car’s background and look for any prior damage or title issues. A pre-purchase inspection is worth it, especially if you want to check how the CVT, brakes, suspension, and interior wear have held up. Focus on overall condition, since the Maxima’s value proposition depends heavily on finding one that still feels clean, well kept, and properly maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Nissan Maxima?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 401 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,254, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Nissan Maxima's resale value?

The current average of $26,450 sits slightly above last year's $26,365.

That small increase suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price trend can make it easier to estimate your car’s future value, especially if you buy at a reasonable price and keep the vehicle in strong condition. Because the model’s pricing has held fairly firm, a clean example should remain easier to position in the used market than one with visible wear or a rough history.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Nissan Maxima or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version in this price band and you value stable pricing, strong owner satisfaction, and a decent supply of clean listings, the 2023 is the straightforward choice. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, especially if you can find a cleaner or cheaper example with the equipment and condition you want.
