Used 2023 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearNew Orleans, LA

How much does the 2023 Lincoln Aviator cost?

Prices have softened 14.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,270 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lincoln Aviator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It is built around comfort rather than driver engagement, and it leans into Lincoln’s “Quiet Flight” approach with a quiet, gliding demeanor, a refined cabin atmosphere, and high-tech features. In testing, it stands out for great handling, a comfortable feel, and an impressive stereo.

The trade-offs are clear: the electric range is unimpressive, the third row is cramped, and the technology feels outdated.

For you, that means the Aviator makes the most sense if you want a relaxed, upscale three-row SUV more than a sporty one. 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Aviator is positioned as a comfort-first luxury SUV, and its overall character supports that mission with a quiet cabin, smooth ride, and upscale materials. The expert evaluation also points to strong handling and a refined driving experience, which can help the vehicle feel well sorted over time.

Its plug-in hybrid setup is described as efficient in the right conditions, with the powertrain automatically making good use of battery charge to maximize efficiency. Lincoln also says the battery can recharge in under four hours on a 240-volt Level 2 charger.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the technology and electrified hardware may age less gracefully than the cabin’s comfort-focused design.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on any Aviator you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a luxury SUV with advanced tech and available electrified hardware. Focus your inspection on cabin condition, electronics, and how smoothly the vehicle drives and brakes.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard V6 trims, including Standard, Reserve, and Black Label, use the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with a 10-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Grand Touring and Black Label Grand Touring add the plug-in hybrid setup, standard AWD, and a 10-speed hybrid automatic transmission. Base-trim equipment gaps can matter because availability and features vary by trim level.
• Powertrain: The plug-in hybrid Grand Touring setup pairs the twin-turbo V6 with a 75-kilowatt electric motor and a 13.6-kilowatt-hour battery pack. It delivers 494 horsepower and 630 pound-feet of torque, with 21 miles of electric driving range and an average of 23 mpg combined in hybrid mode.
• Safety package: Lincoln uses Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 collections of driver aids. Standard and available features include automatic high-beam adaptive-pixel headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist. Availability varies by trim level.
• Infotainment: The Aviator uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa integration, Lincoln Connect connected services, a WiFi hotspot, SiriusXM satellite radio, and navigation. It runs Sync 3 software, so you should test voice controls carefully.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid model is rated at 21 miles of electric range and 23 mpg combined in hybrid mode. In testing, it averaged 24.3 mpg over a longer drive after the battery was depleted.

Which 2023 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, and Black Label Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point if you want the Aviator’s core luxury feel and the standard twin-turbo V6 powertrain without stepping into the pricier hybrid or top-luxury versions.
• Reserve: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger balance of equipment and value, since it builds on the standard model without jumping all the way to the highest-priced versions.
• Black Label: This is the best fit if you want the most upscale non-hybrid Aviator experience, with the richest cabin presentation and the most premium feel among the gas-only trims.
• Grand Touring: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain, standard AWD, and the added efficiency and torque that come with the electrified setup.
• Black Label Grand Touring: This is the top choice if you want the plug-in hybrid drivetrain plus the most luxurious presentation and the fullest feature set.

The safety-package content notes that availability and features vary depending on trim level, so you should confirm exactly which driver-assistance collection is included on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.

• Deal availability: 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,270 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.78% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,595, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $41,595 sits slightly below last year's $48,809.

That price movement suggests the Aviator has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can help future sellers if the market stabilizes. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside than someone who bought when prices were higher.

The model’s luxury positioning and strong owner satisfaction can help support demand, especially among shoppers who prioritize comfort and refinement over sportiness. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator safe?

The Aviator earns a Top Safety Pick from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from the NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln equips the Aviator with Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 collections of driver aids, though availability and features vary by trim level. On the fully loaded test vehicle, the standard and available equipment included automatic high-beam adaptive-pixel headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist.

The main caveat is that the driver-assistance system can feel less dependable in denser traffic and wider freeway settings, and the lane-keeping system may hug inside lane markings in curves. You should test those systems on your own route before buying.

Should I buy a 2023 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model year keeps the Aviator’s quiet-luxury formula intact, with comfort-first dynamics, strong handling, and no major lineup changes beyond the new Jet Package and Special Edition Luxe Package.

The bottom line: If you want the Aviator’s refined ride, upscale cabin, and strong feature content, the 2023 is a sensible buy, especially with prices down from last year. If you’re highly price-sensitive, you can still shop carefully for a lower-mileage or better-equipped example, but the 2023 already looks like a good balance of value and luxury.
