Used 2023 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearBaton Rouge, LA

How much does the 2023 Lincoln Aviator cost?

Prices have softened 14.22% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,260 listings available, which suggests you should have a workable selection to compare.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lincoln Aviator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating, which points to broad appeal for shoppers who want a quiet, comfort-focused luxury SUV. The expert score reflects a vehicle that leans into Lincoln’s “Quiet Flight” approach, with a cabin that prioritizes serenity, comfort, and upscale materials over driving excitement.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

That said, you should weigh the trade-offs: the electric range is unimpressive, the third row is cramped, and the technology feels dated. Even so, the Aviator’s great handling, comfortable ride, and impressive stereo make it a strong fit if you value a serene, upscale three-row SUV more than a sporty one.

34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The Aviator’s appeal centers on quiet refinement, comfort, and a premium-feeling cabin, and the expert evaluation reinforces that it delivers a smooth, isolated driving experience with strong luxury character.

Its plug-in hybrid powertrain is described as efficient in the way it manages battery use, automatically blending electric and gasoline power to make the most of available charge. Lincoln also includes ownership perks such as valet pick-up and drop-off for scheduled service, plus a loaner vehicle, which can make day-to-day ownership easier.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that dated technology and a cramped third row may age less gracefully than the rest of the SUV’s luxury-focused package.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper report. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and the condition of the hybrid system if you are considering a Grand Touring model. Pay close attention to whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim level you are shopping, since feature availability varies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trims emphasize the standard twin-turbo V6 and a more traditional luxury setup, while higher trims add more elaborate cabin materials, lighting, and convenience features. The Grand Touring versions bring the plug-in hybrid powertrain and standard AWD, and the fully loaded Black Label Grand Touring adds the most upscale presentation.
• Powertrain: The standard setup uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with a 10-speed automatic and either RWD or AWD. The Grand Touring versions pair that engine with a 75-kilowatt electric motor, a 13.6-kilowatt-hour battery pack, and a 10-speed hybrid automatic transmission.
• Safety package: Lincoln uses Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 collections of driver aids, with availability varying by trim. On a fully equipped model, features include adaptive-pixel headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: The Aviator uses a 10.1-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Alexa integration, Lincoln Connect connected services, a WiFi hotspot, SiriusXM, and navigation. It runs Sync 3 software, which is a key point to test during a drive because voice recognition is a weak spot.
• Fuel efficiency: The Grand Touring plug-in hybrid is rated at 21 miles of electric range and 23 mpg combined in hybrid mode.

Which 2023 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 5 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label, Grand Touring, and Black Label Grand Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point if you want the Aviator’s core quiet-luxury character without moving up the price ladder. It gives you the standard twin-turbo V6 and the basic three-row luxury formula, making it the starting point for shoppers who care more about the Aviator’s ride and refinement than extra flash.
• Reserve: This trim is the better choice if you want a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top of the range. It should appeal to buyers who want a richer luxury experience while staying below the most expensive versions.
• Black Label: This is the trim to consider if you want the most distinctive gas-powered Aviator presentation. It leans hardest into Lincoln’s luxury branding and is the right fit if you want a more exclusive cabin and a more premium ownership experience.
• Grand Touring: This is the best-value trim if you want the plug-in hybrid powertrain. It adds the electric motor, battery pack, and standard AWD, making it the right pick for shoppers who want the Aviator’s luxury feel with electrified efficiency.
• Black Label Grand Touring: This is the top choice if you want the most fully loaded version and do not mind paying for it. It combines the plug-in hybrid setup with the most lavish presentation and the strongest feature content.

The safety-package setup varies by trim, so make sure the specific vehicle you are considering includes the driver-assistance features you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lincoln Aviator?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,260 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.22% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $42,295, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator's resale value?

The current average of $42,295 sits slightly below last year's $49,306.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone.

Because the year-over-year change is negative, you should expect buyers to remain price-sensitive unless your vehicle stands out with strong condition and desirable equipment. Well-kept examples with the right trim and features should still draw interest, but the softer market means you may need to price competitively.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Aviator safe?

The 2023 Lincoln Aviator earns a Top Safety Pick from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln equips the Aviator with Co-Pilot360 1.5, Co-Pilot360 1.5 Plus, and Co-Pilot360 2.0 driver-assistance collections, though availability varies by trim. On a fully loaded model, you can get adaptive-pixel headlights, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, road-sign recognition, pedestrian detection, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with automatic rear braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centering assist, and evasive steering assist.

One caveat is that the driver aids can be less dependable in denser traffic and wider freeway settings, and the lane-keeping system may hug lane markings more closely in curves than you would like. That means you should treat the system as a helpful support feature, not a substitute for attentive driving.

Should I buy a 2023 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Lincoln left the formula largely unchanged for 2023, aside from the new Jet Package and Special Edition Luxe Package.

The bottom line: The 2023 Aviator makes the most sense if you want the quiet-luxury character, strong comfort, and upscale feel of this SUV without paying for a newer model year. If you are especially price-sensitive, a well-kept earlier example may be worth a look, but the 2023 is the cleaner choice if you want the latest version of this formula and can find a good deal.
