Used 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid for Sale near New Hampshire

How much does the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 5.10% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 637 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid earns a 4.67/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

The overview points you toward a redesigned luxury SUV that is especially appealing if you want a hybrid with a modern feature set and a choice of efficiency or driving enjoyment. The expert drive notes back that up with praise for the RX 350h’s efficiency and the RX 500h’s more engaging character.

The main trade-offs are that the RX 500h delivers poor fuel economy and cargo space is limited. The head-up display integration is also not especially good, so you should weigh those drawbacks against the hybrid lineup’s strengths.

With 38.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes the RX Hybrid as a refined, efficient luxury SUV with a strong reputation, and the expert notes emphasize a quiet cabin, premium feel, and a powertrain that can deliver strong fuel economy in the RX 350h. The RX 350h also comes across as the most sensible choice for most buyers because it balances efficiency with everyday usability.

The performance notes also suggest the hybrid system is designed for smooth, low-stress driving, with instant electric torque and a quiet cabin in normal use. If you plan to keep the vehicle for the long haul, the biggest ownership risk is choosing the less efficient performance-oriented version when your priorities are comfort and economy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because accident-free listings are not the same thing as guaranteed trouble-free ownership. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the hybrid system, infotainment operation, and any signs of wear in the cabin and cargo area. Since the model’s strengths are tied to efficiency, technology, and refinement, condition matters a lot.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The RX 350h is the efficiency-focused choice, while the RX 500h F Sport Performance adds a more aggressive look and a performance-tuned character. Base hybrid versions can look very similar to non-hybrid RX models, so make sure the equipment level matches what you expect.
• Powertrain: The RX 350h uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid setup and is the efficiency leader, while the RX 500h uses a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder hybrid system with more power and a six-speed automatic. If you want the best balance of economy and everyday use, the RX 350h is the one to focus on.
• Safety package: Every 2023 RX comes with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, including motorcycle detection, evasive steering assistance, intersection turn assistance with front cross-traffic alert, curve-speed reduction for adaptive cruise control, and Proactive Driving Assist. Some features can be distracting in certain conditions, so test them during your inspection drive.
• Infotainment: The new Lexus Interface supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Drive Connect includes cloud-based navigation and a voice assistant. The system is modern, but you should check menu responsiveness, screen reflections, and whether the available head-up display works well for you.
• Fuel efficiency: The RX 350h is expected to average 36 mpg in combined driving, while the RX 500h is expected to get no better than 27 mpg in combined driving. If fuel economy matters most, the RX 350h is the clear target.

Which 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid is offered in 3 trim levels: RX 350h, RX 450h+, RX 500h F Sport Performance.

Here's the short version:

• RX 350h: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it is the efficiency-focused hybrid and the expert notes say it makes the most sense for most people most of the time. It delivers the strongest fuel economy in the lineup and keeps the RX Hybrid’s everyday luxury focus intact.
• RX 450h+: This plug-in hybrid is part of the broader hybrid lineup, but the available information here does not provide enough detail to make it the default recommendation over the RX 350h.
• RX 500h F Sport Performance: Choose this if you want the most engaging driving experience and can accept the fuel-economy trade-off. It adds a more aggressive appearance, more power, and a sportier personality, but it is not the value pick.

Every 2023 RX comes with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, so you get a strong standard safety package regardless of trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 637 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $50,604, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $50,929 sits slightly below last year's $53,668.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favorable point, but it also suggests the market has adjusted downward from where it was a year ago. If you plan to resell later, the current trend means your future value will depend heavily on how well you buy and how clean the vehicle’s history is.

The RX Hybrid’s appeal should remain supported by its efficiency, luxury positioning, and broad hybrid lineup. A well-kept example with strong equipment and a clean history should be easier to move than one with visible wear or a questionable record.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid safe?

The 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2023 RX comes with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which includes motorcycle detection, evasive steering assistance, intersection turn assistance with front cross-traffic alert, curve-speed reduction for adaptive cruise control, and Proactive Driving Assist. Lexus also adds Traffic Jam Assist and available Advanced Park, though those are not the core standard safety story.

There are a few caveats to keep in mind. The front cross-traffic alert can be awkward if you rely on the head-up display, the curve-speed reduction tech can feel reactive, and the driver monitoring system can be triggered by certain hand positions. Those are not dealbreakers, but they are worth testing during a drive.

Should I buy a 2023 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesigned RX Hybrid lineup gives you multiple hybrid choices, including an efficiency-focused model and a more performance-oriented one.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned RX Hybrid with modern tech, strong efficiency in the right trim, and a broad range of hybrid personalities, the 2023 model is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can shop aggressively for a clean, well-equipped example near the low end of the range and focus on the RX 350h for the best balance of value and fuel economy.
