You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Focus on examples with clear maintenance records and a clean presentation, because that gives you the best chance of getting the ownership experience you expect.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Land Rover Range Rover?

What is the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $84,315 sits slightly below last year's $99,128.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more strategically today. If you plan to resell later, the current softness may limit near-term appreciation, but it can also make your purchase more defensible if you buy at the right price. Strong demand for well-kept examples should still support values better than average for a luxury SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $53,023, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $84,315 average.
• It offers a simpler, more modern-feeling interior with improved technology.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger all-around shopping position, the 2023 is the better target because it combines a softer price trend with strong owner satisfaction and solid inventory. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the smarter value play and still delivers the core Range Rover experience.
