How much does the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover cost?

Prices have softened 15.04% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,089 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover a good car?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover earns an expert rating of 7.67/10 and stands out for pairing refinement, style, and standard all-wheel drive with genuine go-anywhere capability.

The model scores 10/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It fits you well if you want a luxury SUV that feels special rather than merely practical, and it also brings competitive interior space and towing capacity. The trade-offs are clear: the user interface is a weak point, and value for money is poor.

Cons: Unintuitive technology; poor value for money.

There are 40.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, so the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover reliable?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover is presented as a highly capable luxury SUV with a broad powertrain lineup and standard four-wheel drive, but it also carries the kind of complexity that can make ownership more demanding than a simpler SUV.

Its performance setup includes an eight-speed automatic transmission, a turbocharged inline-six with mild hybrid assistance, a plug-in hybrid version, and a BMW-sourced twin-turbo V8, so you have multiple ways to configure it. The available plug-in hybrid also adds a useful electric-driving component, and Land Rover includes four-year/50,000-mile warranty and roadside assistance coverage.

The performance content emphasizes comfort, refinement, and strong off-road hardware, including a two-speed transfer case, brake-based torque vectoring, Terrain Response drive modes, and height-adjustable air suspension. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a sophisticated luxury SUV like this can be expensive to keep in top shape once warranty coverage ends.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Land Rover Range Rover?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and inspect any candidate carefully, especially if you’re considering a higher-spec or heavily optioned example. Pay close attention to cabin condition, technology operation, and whether the vehicle’s equipment matches the trim and body style you want. Because this is a complex luxury SUV, a thorough pre-purchase inspection is especially important.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: SE models come standard with 21-inch wheels, while Autobiography and SV models get standard 22-inch wheels. The standard-wheelbase version is available in SE, Autobiography, and SV, while the long-wheelbase three-row model is only available as an SE or Autobiography, and the two-row long-wheelbase version is only available in Autobiography or SV spec.
• Powertrain: You can choose a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with mild hybrid assistance, a plug-in hybrid version of that engine, or a BMW-sourced twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8. The V8 is offered in different outputs depending on trim, and the plug-in hybrid adds electric driving range.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, a driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system. Land Rover does not offer a more advanced hands-free driving system here.
• Infotainment: All models come with a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.1-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and a 35-speaker Meridian audio system with active noise cancellation is available on Autobiography and SV models.
• Fuel efficiency: The base turbo-six is rated at up to 21 mpg combined, while V8 models are rated at 19 mpg combined in standard tune and 18 mpg combined in SV spec. The plug-in hybrid offers an EPA-rated 53 miles of electric range.

Which 2025 Land Rover Range Rover trim should I buy?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover is offered in 3 trim levels: SE, Autobiography, and SV.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the best-value starting point if you want the Range Rover experience without jumping straight to the highest prices. You still get the core luxury look, standard all-wheel drive, and the full off-road hardware and driver-assistance basics, while the standard 21-inch wheels help keep it anchored below the pricier trims.
• Autobiography: This is the sweet spot if you want a richer feature set and more upscale presentation. It adds the more premium wheel treatment and is also one of the trims that can be paired with the long-wheelbase configurations, making it a strong choice if you want more flexibility and a more indulgent feel.
• SV: This is the top-end choice if you want the most powerful and most exclusive version in the lineup. It pairs with the highest-output V8 and the most upscale trim positioning, but it makes the most sense if you’re prioritizing performance and prestige over value.

Safety-package note: the standard driver-assistance suite is shared across the lineup, and Land Rover does not offer a more advanced hands-free driving system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Land Rover Range Rover?

It’s a favorable time to shop if you want leverage on price and a decent amount of inventory to compare.

• Deal availability: 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,089 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.04% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $114,337, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover's resale value?

The current average of $114,337 sits slightly below last year's $134,571.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you negotiate more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect depreciation pressure to remain part of the ownership picture, especially given the model’s high starting prices and luxury positioning. If you buy well now, you may be able to soften that hit later, but this is still a vehicle where resale value depends heavily on condition, mileage, and configuration.

Is the 2025 Land Rover Range Rover safe?

The 2025 Land Rover Range Rover does not have crash-test ratings from IIHS or NHTSA available in the provided data.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, a driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control with steering assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera system. That’s a solid standard suite, but Land Rover does not offer a more sophisticated hands-free driving system here. The safety content also notes that the camera view does not always appear automatically when needed, and the parking aids can be overly sensitive.

Should I buy a 2025 Land Rover Range Rover or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.04% compared with last year.
• Changes for 2025 are limited to some reshuffling of options, while the core strengths remain refinement, capability, and multiple powertrain choices.

The bottom line: If you want the latest version of this luxury SUV and you value its blend of refinement and capability, the 2025 is the right target. If you’re mainly shopping for the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025’s softer pricing and strong inventory make it the cleaner buy for most shoppers.
