I like the grand Cherokee L for what it is. It’s a smooth ride with decent features for the price. V6 lacks good acceleration. If you can afford it try to get the limited or higher.

We just bought a new 2023 Grand Cherokee L in Limited trim. So far we love this car and its features. The new styling is dramatically good looking for me. Inside and outside is modern and bold. The center touch screen is huge and stands out just a little from the dashboard instead of being inset into the dash; I really like the look, a bit like a Tesla. Apple CarPlay is seamless integration with the phone. However, this car does not have wireless charging, so I have to plug the phone in to keep it charged while the car integration is draining my phone battery. Speaking of power, in 2023 every vehicle should have power for connected devices and this vehicle has ports at every seat. Plus there are other AC outlets and cigarette lighter plug-ins scattered throughout the car. For performance, the 3.6L engine feels strong and not under-powered. This car came with a tow prep package that includes load-leveling rear suspension and automatic adjusting headlights that tilt down to illuminate the road if your back end is low from towing. Which make me scratch my head and wonder why Jeep did not include a 2-inch receiver??? Now I need to pay extra to add the receiver hitch even though everything else is ready for towing. Mostly I just want to put a rear bike rack there and Jeep let me down.
