How much does the 2023 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 2.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,406 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Hyundai Tucson earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise the smooth driving experience, the modern and feature-rich interior, and the overall value for money. That lines up well with the Tucson’s role as a compact SUV built around everyday usability, a roomy cabin, and a long list of available features.

If you want a practical small SUV that feels modern without giving up comfort or convenience, this model year fits that brief well. With 36.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding one at a competitive price.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centered on the Tucson’s smooth driving character and overall value. That kind of response suggests you can count on it for everyday use if the specific vehicle has been maintained well.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about the condition of the individual vehicle you choose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any Tucson you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can check for wear, prior repairs, and any signs that the vehicle’s condition doesn’t match the listing description.

Focus especially on overall maintenance, interior condition, and how well the electronics and driver-assistance features work during a test drive. A well-kept example should reinforce the Tucson’s value proposition; a neglected one can erase that advantage quickly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,406 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,870, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $23,092 sits slightly below last year's $23,700.

That price movement suggests the Tucson has softened a bit in the market, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper resale gains later. If you plan to sell in a few years, the current trend implies you should expect steady but not especially strong appreciation in value.

Even so, the Tucson’s broad appeal should help it remain easy to shop and easy to resell. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $20,184, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $23,092 average.
• It offers a roomier, redesigned cabin with strong practicality.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,578, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $23,092 average.
• It adds a more polished all-around package with strong space, tech, and safety appeal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a well-liked Tucson with strong owner satisfaction and decent deal availability. If your priority is spending less, the 2022 is the better value path; if you want to stretch for a newer model, the 2024 is worth comparing for its updated appeal.
