An eight-speed automatic transmission drives the gas-powered Tucson, while hybrid models get a six-speed auto. Every Hyundai Tucson now comes standard with front collision warning with pedestrian, cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection (to assist making left-hand turns at intersections), as well as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and intelligent speed-limit assist.
