How much does the 2023 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 4.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,493 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Hyundai Tucson earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction.

Owners consistently praise the smooth driving experience, the modern and feature-rich interior, and the overall value for money. That lines up well with its role as a compact SUV aimed at everyday comfort and broad appeal, especially if you want a roomy cabin and a long list of standard and available features.

With 34.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitive offer if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centered on the Tucson’s smooth driving character and overall value. That kind of response usually matters most when you want a used SUV you can count on for daily driving without a lot of drama.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about finding one that has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm accident status, title status, and ownership patterns before you get too far into negotiations. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, driver-assistance features, and overall condition, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on its tech and comfort equipment.

It also makes sense to focus on how the vehicle drives and whether everything feels consistent with the smooth, relaxed character buyers expect from this SUV.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without rushing.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,493 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.26% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,688, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $22,688 sits slightly below last year's $23,696.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also suggests the market has adjusted downward from where it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum alone.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,826, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,688 average.
• It offers more interior room and a larger-feeling cabin.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,483, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,688 average.
• It adds a more refined, well-rounded feel with stronger overall polish.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want strong owner satisfaction, good deal availability, and a well-equipped compact SUV. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value play; if you want a newer-feeling alternative and can spend more, the 2024 is worth a look.
