How much does the 2023 Hyundai Tucson cost?

Prices have softened 3.56% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 6,469 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating, and owners consistently praise the smooth driving experience, the modern and feature-rich interior, and the overall value for money. That lines up well with the Tucson’s role as a compact SUV that emphasizes value, technology, and everyday comfort. If you want a roomy, easygoing small SUV with a long list of standard and available features, this model year fits that use case well. With 39.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with praise centered on the Tucson’s smooth driving character and strong value. That kind of response suggests you can count on it for everyday use if the specific vehicle has been maintained well. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the model’s reputation and more about the condition and history of the individual example you choose.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Put inspection priority on overall condition, especially signs of wear that could affect comfort, electronics, or ride quality. Because this model is valued for its feature content, make sure the equipment you care about works as expected before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Tucson?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 6,469 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.56% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,863, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Tucson's resale value?

The current average of $22,945 sits slightly below last year's $23,791.

That softer pricing suggests the Tucson has become a bit more buyer-friendly, which can help you if you’re shopping now but may temper short-term resale gains if you plan to sell soon. Even so, the model’s broad appeal, strong feature set, and value-oriented reputation should help it stay relevant with used shoppers. Well-kept examples are likely to remain easier to move than less desirable alternatives in the segment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Tucson or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.56% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $20,079, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,945 average.
• It offers a larger body and more interior room.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,578, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $22,945 average.
• It adds a more energetic turbocharged powertrain.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want strong owner satisfaction, good deal availability, and a balanced feature set. If price is your top priority, the 2022 is the better value play, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer model-year experience and are willing to pay more.
