What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records so you can separate a well-kept example from one that has been used heavily.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find value.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,936 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.30% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $32,006 sits slightly below last year's $33,099.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, the Passport’s strong owner satisfaction and practical appeal should help support demand. Well-kept examples with clean history and strong equipment should be easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.30% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $29,022, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $32,006 average.
• It adds a light restyle and the first TrailSport trim.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $34,907, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $32,006 average.
• It adds a subtle refresh with a familiar, easy-to-use feel.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want strong owner satisfaction, solid inventory, and a good balance of price and practicality. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2022 is the better value play, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer model-year refresh and don’t mind paying more.
