What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the cabin, seating mechanisms, and overall condition. A thorough test drive and pre-purchase inspection can help you separate a clean, well-kept example from one that has seen harder use.

What is the 2023 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $32,336 sits slightly below last year's $36,209.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is kept. If you buy a clean example and maintain it well, you may be better positioned when it comes time to sell. Strong demand for practical family minivans can help support value, especially when the vehicle has a good reputation with owners.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,205, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $32,336 average.
• It delivers a light, engaging driving feel.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of satisfaction, inventory, and pricing context. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value-focused alternative, especially if you find a clean example with the features you need.
