Used 2023 Genesis G90 for Sale nearAustin, TX

How much does the 2023 Genesis G90 cost?

Prices have softened 7.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 62 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Genesis G90 a good car?

Yes — it earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.67/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

The 2023 Genesis G90 is positioned as a luxury sedan that emphasizes value for money while still delivering a stylish design and a richly appointed cabin. The overview highlights rear-seat comfort, massaging seats all the way around, a rear reclining seat with a footrest, and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system, so you’re getting a car that leans hard into comfort and upscale features.

The trade-offs are straightforward: interior storage is limited, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wired rather than wireless. Even so, the combination of luxury equipment, passenger comfort, and competitive pricing makes it a strong fit if you want a flagship-style sedan without paying the usual premium.

Only 45.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market has some attractive opportunities but not an overwhelming surplus.

Is the 2023 Genesis G90 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview and expert notes point to a car that’s built around comfort, refinement, and strong value rather than complexity for its own sake. The expert drive notes also emphasize that Genesis is pushing design and features while keeping pricing competitive, which supports the idea that you’re getting a well-equipped luxury sedan without stretching into the highest-priced tier.

The performance notes also suggest a polished ownership experience: the stop/start system restarts quickly and without vibration or noise, and the car is described as exceptionally quiet with very little road or engine noise in the cabin. On the cost side, complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles helps reduce early ownership burden.

For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about making sure the car’s luxury features and electronics have been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G90?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage doesn’t replace documentation. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the cabin electronics, seat functions, and comfort features, since this model’s appeal is heavily tied to its luxury equipment. It’s also worth confirming that the car’s condition matches its premium positioning, especially if you’re shopping for one of the more feature-rich examples.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is loaded with Nappa leather, real wood veneer, ambient lighting, and high-quality materials, but the base setup still leaves you with limited interior storage and wired smartphone mirroring rather than wireless convenience.
• Powertrain: The G90 is offered with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, and the top version adds an e-supercharger mild-hybrid setup for more torque off the line. Both pair with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes blind-spot monitoring, smart cruise control with stop-and-go, highway driving assist, remote parking assist, a 360-degree camera, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning and assist, and parking-collision avoidance.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, an 8-inch rear-seat touchscreen, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital key, and over-the-air updates.
• Fuel efficiency: The less powerful engine returns 21 mpg combined (18 city / 26 highway), while the top trim returns 20 mpg combined (17 city / 24 highway).

Which 2023 Genesis G90 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G90 is offered in 2 trim levels: 3.5T and 3.5T E-SC.

Here's the short version:

• 3.5T: This is the better-value choice if you want the G90’s luxury experience without paying for the extra output of the top model. It still gives you the core comfort, design, and technology strengths that define the car, along with the standard safety and convenience equipment.
• 3.5T E-SC: This is the one to choose if you want the most powerful version and the smoothest, most relaxed flagship feel. It adds the e-supercharged mild-hybrid setup and is the trim that best matches the G90’s top-tier luxury mission.

Standard safety equipment is already extensive across the lineup, so you don’t need to move up trims just to get a strong driver-assistance package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G90?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with meaningful inventory and a decent share of well-priced listings.

• Deal availability: 45.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 62 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.99% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $53,151, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G90's resale value?

The current average of $53,782 sits slightly below last year's $58,452.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car’s luxury features have been maintained.

Because this model is positioned as a value-rich flagship sedan, well-kept examples should continue to attract shoppers who want premium equipment without premium-brand pricing. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Genesis G90 safe?

The 2023 Genesis G90 hasn’t published IIHS or NHTSA crash ratings yet.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Genesis makes advanced driver assistance standard, and the G90’s safety tech is broad and well integrated. Standard features include blind-spot monitoring with audible and visual warnings, a blind-spot video feed in the gauge cluster, a head-up display warning for approaching traffic, smart cruise control with stop-and-go, highway driving assist, remote parking assist, a 360-degree camera, lane-keeping assist, forward-collision warning and assist, and parking-collision avoidance.

The main caveat is that there are no published crash-test ratings yet, so you’re relying on the strength of the standard safety equipment rather than formal test results.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G90 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 45.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It’s a major refresh with more luxury features than ever, including massaging seats all the way around, a rear reclining seat with a footrest, and a Bang & Olufsen stereo system.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want the refreshed G90’s stronger luxury presentation and you’re shopping in a market where prices have already eased. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can use the softened pricing and decent inventory to focus on the cleanest, best-equipped example rather than stretching for a newer alternative.
