How much does the 2023 GMC Yukon cost?

Is the 2023 GMC Yukon a good car?

The 2023 GMC Yukon is a mixed but appealing choice if you want a large SUV with a premium feel and strong everyday usability. Its user rating is 3.4/5, which reflects that balance of strengths and tradeoffs.

Owners most often praise the quality finishes, spacious interior, and smooth ride. They also like the helpful digital dashboard and the fuel efficiency, which matters if you plan to use it as a family hauler or long-distance cruiser. For shoppers who want something roomy, modern, and still relatively understated, those traits line up well with the Yukon’s design.

With 40.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive price if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 GMC Yukon reliable?

The 2023 GMC Yukon stands out as a full-size SUV that blends a commanding presence with a genuinely upscale feel. Owners describe it as having quality finishes and a smooth ride, and some feedback points to a dependable, long-term ownership experience when the vehicle is well maintained.

At the same time, owner comments also mention transmission issues and engine recalls, so reliability is not the Yukon’s strongest calling card. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is worth taking seriously, especially if you plan to keep the SUV for many years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a full history report, especially if you are comparing multiple listings with similar prices. A pre-purchase inspection is also important, with extra attention to the transmission, engine behavior, and any signs of uneven wear or deferred maintenance. Focus on overall condition as much as mileage, since a well-kept example is likely to be the better long-term buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 GMC Yukon?

This is a favorable time to shop if you want leverage as a buyer, because pricing has moved down and there is still meaningful inventory to compare.

• Deal availability: 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,625 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $55,266, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $55,266 sits slightly below last year's $61,093.

That price movement suggests the Yukon has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help if you buy at the right number and later resell into a stable market. If you keep the SUV in strong condition and avoid overpaying now, you may be better positioned than a buyer who paid closer to last year's average. The current trend also means future sellers may need to be realistic on pricing if the market stays soft.

Should I buy a 2023 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.54% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $46,614, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $55,266 average.
• It offers a premium-feeling large SUV with strong capability and plenty of cargo space.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better pick if you want the newer-year market position, a strong inventory pool, and a favorable price trend. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the smarter value play, especially if you find a clean example with the right equipment.
