Is the 2025 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2025 Yukon stands out as a full-size SUV that blends a commanding presence with a restrained, upscale look, and it adds updated interior and exterior styling, a new 16.8-inch infotainment screen with Google built in, and a new AT4 Ultimate trim level. Is the 2025 GMC Yukon reliable?

The 2025 Yukon’s appeal comes from its roomy cabin, premium feel, and broad set of modern features, including updated tech and available powertrains that suit different needs. The current generation also benefits from independent rear multilink suspension with coil springs, which helps create a lower floor and more cargo and passenger space. Even so, the model’s modern equipment and premium positioning mean you should still expect to evaluate condition carefully on the used market.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the accident-free share is this strong. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the electronics, infotainment system, suspension, and any available driver-assistance or towing equipment. Focus on overall condition, service records, and signs of heavy family or towing use so you can separate a well-kept SUV from one that has been worked hard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,584 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $73,011, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $73,011 sits slightly below last year's $83,111.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, which can make future resale a little more competitive for you if you own one for a short period. If you buy well now, you may have less depreciation pressure than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. Strong condition, clean history, and desirable equipment should matter a lot when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the Yukon with updated styling and the latest infotainment setup, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may give you a lower entry price while still delivering the Yukon’s core space and premium feel.
