How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 4.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,436 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of cars to compare.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette earns 4.77/5 from owners, and its expert rating is 8.17/10. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its powerful performance, impressive looks, and strong value for the money. Many also compare it favorably with far pricier exotic brands, which lines up with the Corvette’s role as a more attainable sports car with serious presence.

The trade-offs are real: the cockpit is cramped, and the layout can feel confusing. Even so, the Corvette’s mid-engine setup and sharp handling make it a compelling choice if you want standout performance without moving into true exotic-car pricing.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 37.6% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.77/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels special, desirable, and worth the money, which usually matters when you’re evaluating long-term ownership confidence. The expert review also emphasizes that the Corvette’s performance is delivered with little drama, and that it can soften up in Tour mode for everyday use.

The cost-effectiveness review also notes that the base V8 model returns 16 mpg city, 24 highway, 19 combined, which helps frame running costs for a performance car. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability than about whether the car was maintained carefully and driven with the kind of restraint its performance invites.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on cars with higher mileage or heavy track use. Focus on wear items, panel fit, tire condition, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim and options advertised.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 1LT gives you the essentials, including 19-inch front wheels, 20-inch rear wheels, a fully digital instrument panel, leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a Bose 10-speaker stereo. The 2LT adds navigation, a performance data and video recorder, a 14-speaker Bose stereo, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, lumbar control, wireless charging, cargo nets, and a head-up display. The 3LT adds GT2 bucket seats and more soft-touch leather surfaces, so it suits you if you want the most upscale cabin.
• Powertrain: The Corvette uses a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 with 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic and rear-wheel drive. The optional Performance Exhaust raises output to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft, and the Z51 Performance Package adds a performance rear-axle ratio, heavy-duty cooling, an electronic limited-slip differential, performance tires, and an upgraded rear spoiler.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes a backup camera, front- and side-impact airbags, and rear parking sensors. The 2LT adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror, while the convertible loses that camera function when the roof is stowed.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen with Chevy’s Infotainment 3 system, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, a logical menu layout, and a driver-focused screen angle. The system does not include over-the-air capability in the provided data.
• Fuel efficiency: The base V8 returns 16 mpg city, 24 highway, 19 combined, and the test loop returned 17.9 mpg.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the value play if you want the Corvette experience at the lowest entry point. You still get the core hardware and the essentials, including the digital gauge cluster, leather upholstery, and the 8-inch touchscreen, so it covers the basics well.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the features that make the car easier to live with, including navigation, the performance data recorder, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, and the head-up display. It also adds the key safety upgrades.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most premium cabin, with GT2 bucket seats and additional soft-touch leather surfaces throughout. It makes the Corvette feel more upscale, but the jump is mainly about comfort and finish rather than a major change in capability.

The 2LT trim is the one that adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and the rear camera mirror.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,436 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.31% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $77,205, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $77,205 sits slightly below last year's $80,680.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more selectively now. For a future seller, the softer trend means you should pay close attention to purchase price and condition, because both will matter when it’s time to resell.

The Corvette’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time, especially among shoppers who want performance and image without paying exotic-car money. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should remain easier to move than neglected or heavily modified ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Corvette earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes standard with a backup camera, rear parking sensors, and a full array of front- and side-impact airbags. The 2LT trim adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror, which helps with rear visibility.

The big caveat is that modern driver-assistance features such as forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams are not available. That’s a notable omission for a car in this price range, especially if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The mid-engine layout gives it a more exotic feel and sharper performance character.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $67,358, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $77,205 average.
• It offers impressive performance and technology while still managing to be a decent value.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of performance, desirability, and current-market availability, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the smarter value play, especially if you can find one with the right trim and condition.
