Used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer for Sale nearNewburgh, NY

How much does the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer cost?

Prices have softened 3.93% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,799 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its sporty design, comfort, roomy interior, quiet ride, and overall value. That lines up with the Blazer’s use case as a two-row midsize SUV that leans more toward on-road comfort and style than rugged utility.

The main trade-offs are fairly pedestrian performance and poor fuel economy, and advanced safety features are not standard. Even so, it fits well if you want a comfortable, attractive crossover with useful tech and a strong V6 option.

The market also looks reasonably favorable, with 37.4% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with praise centered on comfort, quietness, and overall value. That kind of feedback usually matters most when you want a used SUV you can count on day to day.

The expert evaluation also emphasizes mainstream, proven hardware rather than anything exotic, which generally supports predictable ownership. For used buyers, the biggest long-term risk is choosing a poorly maintained example with neglected wear items or option-related issues.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on tires, brakes, suspension condition, and any signs of uneven wear or prior bodywork. It also helps to confirm that the features you want are actually present, since some desirable equipment is trim-dependent.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS. The base-level setup is more limited on convenience and safety equipment, while higher trims add more upscale touches and more available driver-assistance content.
• Powertrain: Most models use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 makes 308 hp and 270 lb-ft, and it is standard on RS and optional on 3LT and Premier.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control is available on 2LT and 3LT, but it is not standard across the lineup.
• Infotainment: A 10.2-inch touchscreen is standard, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and wireless device charging is available on all trim levels. RS and Premier also get an 8-inch instrument display, built-in navigation, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Four-cylinder models are rated at 25 mpg combined with FWD and 24 mpg combined with AWD. V6 models are rated at 22 mpg combined with FWD and 21 mpg combined with AWD.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer is offered in 4 trim levels: 2LT, 3LT, Premier, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• 2LT: This is the entry point, and it makes sense if you want the Blazer’s styling, standard 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Chevy Safety Assist without stretching the budget too far.
• 3LT: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it opens the door to more available equipment, including the optional V6 and adaptive cruise control, while staying below the higher trims.
• Premier: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and more available comfort and tech features, especially if you plan to add the V6 and want a more premium daily driver.
• RS: This is the most distinctive trim, with the V6 standard and the sportiest appearance and presentation. It suits you best if style and stronger straight-line performance matter most.

Safety equipment is not fully standard on every trim, so check carefully for the driver-assistance features you want before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Blazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right example.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,799 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.93% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $27,053, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $27,053 sits slightly below last year's $28,160.

That decline suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer but may temper short-term resale expectations if you plan to sell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of that depreciation. Trim choice and equipment matter too, since better-equipped versions tend to be easier to market later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer safe?

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer earns a Good rating from IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover testing.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams. Adaptive cruise control is available on 2LT and 3LT, while other available features include blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, a 360-degree camera system, rear camera mirror, a Safety Alert vibrating driver seat, and GM’s Teen Driver monitoring system.

One caveat is that advanced driver assistance is not standard across the lineup, and the Blazer does not offer GM’s Super Cruise system.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.93% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a new 10.2-inch touchscreen and available wireless charging across the lineup.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,640, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $27,053 average.
• It emphasizes sporty styling and everyday usefulness.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the better tech update, stronger market selection, and a more current shopping pool. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better value play, especially if you can live without the newer equipment.
