Power is sent through a 10-speed automatic transmission to the front wheels or to available all-wheel drive (AWD). The Sport model comes standard with AWD, as well as performance brakes and an adaptive suspension system. The most efficient version of the XT6 is the four-cylinder engine with front-wheel drive (FWD). It returns fuel economy of 21 mpg city, 27 highway, and 23 combined.
