Used 2023 BMW 7 Series for Sale near Florida

How much does the 2023 BMW 7 Series cost?

Prices have softened 14.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 712 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 BMW 7 Series a good car?

It’s a strong fit if you want a flagship sedan that prioritizes comfort and driving enjoyment, but the styling and tech may not suit everyone. The user rating is 1/5, and the expert rating is 6.67/10.

The model scores 8/10 across Performance and Safety.

The 7 Series stands out for its comfortable ride, great handling, and luxury-focused cabin, while its broad appeal comes from blending refinement with real driving engagement. At the same time, the design is polarizing and the technology interface can be frustrating, so you’re trading some ease of use for a more distinctive flagship experience.

The biggest trade-offs are the unintuitive technology and the potentially polarizing design. If you value comfort and road manners more than a simple interface, it fits that brief well.

34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 BMW 7 Series reliable?

The 2023 BMW 7 Series is positioned as a premium flagship with a strong emphasis on comfort and performance, and the expert evaluation notes smooth operation from its driver-assistance systems. The adaptive cruise control is described as commendable for its smooth acceleration and braking, and the highway driving assistant is presented as one of the better semi-automated systems available.

The performance notes also point to a refined powertrain and a calm driving character when you’re not pushing it, which supports the impression of a well-sorted luxury sedan. The cost-effectiveness notes add that the base six-cylinder version should satisfy most drivers, which can matter if you’re trying to avoid the added complexity and expense of the higher-output model.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is that the car’s complexity can make repairs and upkeep more demanding than on a simpler luxury sedan.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 BMW 7 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage doesn’t replace a proper records review. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics, driver-assistance functions, and interior condition, since this is a high-tech luxury sedan where small issues can be expensive to sort out. Pay close attention to how the cabin materials, screens, and controls operate in real use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard 740i and the 760i xDrive differ sharply in character, with the 740i emphasizing smoother everyday use and the 760i xDrive adding much more power. The base trim also carries the more approachable starting point for buyers who want the flagship experience without stepping into the higher-output V8 model.
• Powertrain: The 740i uses a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, while the 760i xDrive uses a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. The six-cylinder is estimated at 31 mpg in combined driving, while the V8 is estimated at 26 mpg.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor, lane-keep assist, a traffic-sign reader, adaptive headlights, parking sensors, and safe exit warnings. The optional Driving Assistance Professional package adds a hands-free automated driving system for highways.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses iDrive 8 with touchscreen, central dial, and voice control. The system is feature-rich, but deeper menus can be cumbersome, and the theater screen can be awkward to operate.
• Fuel efficiency: The base six-cylinder is estimated to return 31 mpg in combined city and highway driving, while the V8 is estimated to return 26 mpg.

Which 2023 BMW 7 Series trim should I buy?

The 2023 BMW 7 Series is offered in 2 trim levels: 740i, 760i xDrive.

Here's the short version:

• 740i: This is the best-value choice if you want the core 7 Series experience with the lower starting price and the more efficient powertrain. It gives you the flagship comfort and luxury without paying for the extra performance of the V8.
• 760i xDrive: Choose this if you want the strongest acceleration and the most effortless performance in the lineup. It suits you best if you care more about power and all-weather traction than fuel economy.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, and the optional Driving Assistance Professional package adds the highway hands-free system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 BMW 7 Series?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without waiting forever for the right car.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 712 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $61,069, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 BMW 7 Series's resale value?

The current average of $61,069 sits slightly below last year's $71,541.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the car at a better entry price. For a future seller, it also means you should expect depreciation pressure to remain a factor, especially if the car is optioned heavily or has higher mileage.

If you buy well now, you may be able to limit some of that downside by starting from a lower market baseline. The strongest resale position will likely come from a clean history, desirable equipment, and strong overall condition.

Is the 2023 BMW 7 Series safe?

The 2023 BMW 7 Series has not been crash tested by either NHTSA or IIHS yet.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor, lane-keep assist, a traffic-sign reader, adaptive headlights, parking sensors, and safe exit warnings. The optional Driving Assistance Professional package adds a hands-free automated driving system for highways, and the expert evaluation says the system works smoothly without false alarms or unpredictable reactions.

The main caveat is that the available semi-automated driving setup is optional, so you’ll want to confirm whether a used example has it if that feature matters to you.

Should I buy a 2023 BMW 7 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.64% compared with last year.
• It delivers a strong blend of comfort, luxury, and performance, even if the styling and tech are divisive.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $67,580, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $61,069 average.
• It adds a plug-in hybrid option and a lightly updated infotainment system.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2023 is the smarter path because prices have eased and the core flagship experience is already strong. If you’re willing to pay more for the newer model-year changes and the plug-in hybrid option, the 2024 is the alternative to compare.
