Is the 2023 Audi Q8 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2023 Audi Q8. It stands out as Audi’s flagship SUV, and its appeal comes from blending a more exclusive, coupe-like shape with the upscale feel and strong road manners you expect from a premium German SUV. It is positioned as the sportier and more luxurious choice versus the Q7, with a style-first mission that favors refinement and performance over maximum family utility. With 38.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful chance to find a competitively priced example.

Is the 2023 Audi Q8 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Q8’s appeal comes from its rich interior materials, satisfying powertrain, and excellent build quality. It also comes with standard quattro all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, which supports the model’s polished, confidence-inspiring character. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its upscale, technology-heavy design can be more expensive to keep in top shape than a simpler SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches its advertised condition and equipment. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the SUV has higher mileage or a limited service record. Focus on overall condition, since the Q8’s premium interior and technology are central to its value.

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and move when you find the right example.

• Deal availability: 38.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2023 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $43,405 sits slightly below last year's $51,984.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to resell later, the current softness may limit short-term appreciation, but it can also make the vehicle easier to move if you buy well. A clean history and strong condition will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.1% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
