You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific Q7 you’re considering has a clean maintenance record. Focus on whether the features and trim level match your needs, because the Q7’s value is tied closely to equipment and overall presentation.

The current average of $35,310 sits slightly below last year's $40,066.

That price movement suggests the Q7 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than before. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can help protect your position when it’s time to resell. The model’s broad appeal as a three-row luxury SUV should still support demand, especially among shoppers who value refinement and utility.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 44.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better pick if you want a well-priced Q7 with strong inventory depth and a favorable market backdrop. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2023’s combination of deal availability and clean inventory.
