The 2023 Audi Q7 is described as a polished, well-equipped luxury SUV, but it also comes with tradeoffs that matter over time, including premium-fuel requirements and potentially high repair costs. For used buyers, that means ownership risk is more about maintenance expense than basic appeal, so a well-kept example matters a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with a complex option package. Focus on overall condition, service records, and how well the cabin electronics, seating, and trim have held up, since those are the kinds of details that can separate a strong used luxury SUV from an average one.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Audi Q7?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,548 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.35% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,550, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $35,550 sits slightly below last year's $40,099.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may temper near-term resale upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key is buying well and keeping the vehicle in strong condition so you’re not competing from a weak starting point. A clean history and good maintenance can help preserve value even in a softer pricing environment.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?
