Is the 2022 Audi Q7 a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Audi Q7 earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a three-row luxury SUV that blends clean design, strong road manners, and a practical cabin, with comfortable front and second-row seating and useful cargo space. For you, that means it fits well if you want a refined family SUV with upscale features, standard all-wheel drive, and a strong mix of technology and capability. 42.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Audi Q7 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Audi Q7 is described as a polished, well-equipped SUV with strong driving dynamics and a practical cabin, but it also has tradeoffs you should factor into ownership. The base turbo four is described as underpowered and not especially efficient because it has to work hard, and the vehicle requires premium fuel. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about choosing the right configuration and budgeting for premium-running costs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Audi Q7?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on the specific configuration and condition of the example you’re considering. Pay close attention to whether the vehicle has the features you want, since technology and safety equipment vary by configuration. It also makes sense to inspect the cabin carefully, especially the third row and interior trim, because the Q7’s appeal depends heavily on how well the luxury details have been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Audi Q7?

Yes — this looks like a buyer’s market, with meaningful inventory and a healthy share of discounted listings.

• Deal availability: 42.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,688 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.24% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,725, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Audi Q7's resale value?

The current average of $29,725 sits slightly below last year's $36,806.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the Q7’s resale value will depend heavily on how well you preserve condition, mileage, and equipment level. A well-kept example with the right features should be easier to move than one with visible wear or a less desirable configuration.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Audi Q7 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 42.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.24% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 Audi Q7 makes the most sense if you want a three-row luxury SUV with strong utility, a refined cabin, and a market that currently favors buyers. If you’re price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the best-maintained example rather than the newest badge alone, since condition and equipment matter a lot in this model family.
