Which 2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI trim should I buy?

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the GTI’s core appeal, including the 241-horsepower turbocharged engine, manual transmission availability, plaid cloth seats, and the smaller 8.25-inch touchscreen. It makes sense if you want the GTI experience at the lowest starting point.
• SE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the 10-inch touchscreen with navigation, Vienna leather upholstery availability, and the 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. It also keeps the GTI’s strong performance and adds more polish without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Autobahn: This is the most feature-rich version, with standard Vienna leather upholstery, 19-inch wheels, the DCC adaptive damping system, and available Park Assist. It suits you if you want the most comfort and convenience features.

IQ.Drive is only available on automatic GTIs, so manual buyers should keep that safety-package limitation in mind.
