That kind of feedback suggests you may be looking at a vehicle that resonates well with people who have lived with it day to day. With 33.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Toyota C-HR reliable?

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Toyota C-HR?

At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and prioritize cars with clean records and consistent maintenance. Focus on bodywork, panel alignment, tire wear, and signs of past repairs before you decide.

What is the 2022 Toyota C-HR's resale value?

The current average of $22,345 sits slightly below last year's $23,024.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less downside risk than when values were higher. If the market continues to favor buyers, future resale may stay competitive, but the recent decline also suggests you should be careful not to overpay today. A well-priced purchase gives you a better chance of limiting depreciation if you sell later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $19,765, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $22,345 average.
• It offers distinctive styling and good value.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market data and are comfortable shopping carefully for condition. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the better value path, especially if you find one with the right history and equipment.
