Should I buy a 2022 Porsche Taycan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.09% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $78,154, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $70,966 average.
• It adds more versatility and remains comfortable to drive.

The bottom line: If you want the better value today, the 2022 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability and strong owner satisfaction. If you’re willing to spend more for a newer model year and want the added versatility, the 2023 is the better secondary path.
