How much does the 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 6.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 384 listings available, which gives you a useful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid a good car?

Yes — 4.7/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the RX Hybrid’s appeal centers on a comfortable ride, a luxurious interior, and strong fuel efficiency. It also benefits from a reputation for reliability, which makes it especially attractive if you want a premium crossover that prioritizes calm daily driving over performance. For shoppers who value efficiency and comfort in a luxury package, this model year fits that use case well. 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.7/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 RX Hybrid’s reliability appeal comes through in its long-running reputation for dependability and its familiar, proven hybrid setup. It is also part of a mature generation that had already been updated with revised styling, a retuned suspension, and a more intuitive infotainment setup. For used buyers, that usually points to lower long-term ownership risk than a newer, less proven redesign.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still review the history report carefully and confirm there are no hidden accident or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, infotainment operation, and overall interior condition, since premium features are a big part of this model’s value. It also makes sense to focus on maintenance records and signs of careful ownership, because that can matter more than mileage alone on a luxury hybrid.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 384 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.57% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,430, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $41,441 sits slightly below last year's $44,354.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can make the RX Hybrid easier to buy now but may also limit near-term appreciation for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your best protection is buying well and choosing a clean, well-kept example. Strong condition and documented care should matter more than chasing a higher-mileage bargain.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,818, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $41,441 average.
• It adds a redesigned lineup with three hybrid choices.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2022 if you want the better value and a proven, comfortable luxury hybrid. If you can stretch for the newer generation and want the redesigned lineup, the 2023 is the better upgrade; if price matters most, the 2022 is the smarter buy.
