Used 2022 Land Rover Discovery for Sale nearTampa, FL

How much does the 2022 Land Rover Discovery cost?

Prices have softened 13.77% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 243 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Discovery a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2022 Discovery stands out as a three-row midsize SUV that blends luxury with genuine off-road ability, and its fifth-generation design gives it a smoother exterior and a broader appeal than a pure trail-focused SUV. It also improves on-road manners over earlier versions and uses more technology to make off-roading easier, while the standard four-wheel drive and upscale cabin reinforce its comfort-first character. The market shows 38.3% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Land Rover Discovery reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Discovery’s strengths center on its luxury feel, off-road capability, and broad usefulness as a three-row SUV. Its standard four-wheel drive and strong equipment list support that reputation, while the cabin’s upscale design adds to its appeal for daily use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a vehicle with this much capability and technology can be more sensitive to condition and maintenance history than a simpler SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Land Rover Discovery?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re seriously considering, even when the accident-free share is high. Put inspection priority on the drivetrain, electronics, and interior condition, since the Discovery leans heavily on technology and premium features. Focus especially on how the cabin functions in real use, because a luxury SUV with a lot of equipment can hide wear more easily than a simpler vehicle.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Land Rover Discovery?

This is a selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings closely.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 243 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.77% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,250, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Land Rover Discovery's resale value?

The current average of $28,250 sits slightly below last year's $32,763.

That price decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on how well you preserve condition and present the vehicle against a market that has softened. Well-kept examples should still attract interest because the Discovery’s mix of luxury and off-road ability gives it a distinct position in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Land Rover Discovery or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.77% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• It adds fresh updates, including new engines, refreshed styling, redesigned second-row seats, and a new infotainment system.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market value story and a broad mix of luxury and off-road capability. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2021 is worth a look because its updates make it a compelling alternative while still delivering the Discovery’s core strengths.
