Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best listings.

• Deal availability: 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,649 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.11% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe's resale value?

The current average of $26,217 sits slightly below last year's $33,234.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future buyers but may limit upside for a seller in the near term. If you plan to resell later, the strongest listings will be the ones with clean history and clear evidence of careful ownership. A well-kept example should still draw interest, but pricing it competitively will matter.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 39.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.11% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $25,078, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,217 average.
• It offers a cleaner-hybrid take on Wrangler capability with easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2022 if you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction. If your top priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value-oriented alternative and may be worth a close look.
