How much does the 2022 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 7.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 689 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Generally — the 2022 INFINITI Q50 earns a 4/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a midsize premium sedan with a strong mix of power, equipment, and value. The overview points to a familiar formula: rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, a seven-speed automatic transmission, and more standard equipment than many rivals. It also has a clear luxury-sedan identity with sporty intent, even if its approach is more conservative than newer competitors. With 33.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes reliability as generally solid, which is encouraging for used-car shoppers. It also notes a few known trouble spots, including warped brakes and turbo failures on 3.0t models. For a used buyer, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable if you focus on maintenance history and condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 INFINITI Q50?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then confirm the car’s maintenance records and any prior damage claims. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or a 3.0t model. Focus on brake condition, turbo-related symptoms, and overall wear so you can separate a clean, well-kept car from one that may need immediate repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 INFINITI Q50?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what to target.

• Deal availability: 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 689 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 77.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,453, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $26,721 sits slightly below last year's $28,783.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale upside may be more limited unless your car is especially clean, well maintained, and attractively equipped. The good news is that a model with broad appeal and a strong equipment list can still hold buyer interest better than a less desirable luxury sedan.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 77.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,005, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,721 average.
• It adds mild updates, more driver-assist tech, and a built-in WiFi hotspot.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $31,448, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $26,721 average.
• It emphasizes style and performance with easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of price, inventory, and satisfaction. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the smarter secondary path; if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling option, the 2023 is the alternative to compare.
