How much does the 2022 Honda Accord cost?

Prices have softened 4.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,230 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Accord earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, stylish design, and abundance of features, and many also value the spacious interior and comfortable long-drive manners. For you, that makes it a strong fit if you want a roomy, refined midsize sedan with everyday practicality and family-friendly usability. With 33.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback also highlights dependable day-to-day ownership traits, including a smooth ride and a comfortable cabin that many drivers feel good about living with over time. Some owners do mention engine reliability concerns, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and how the car has been used. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is manageable, but only if you verify condition carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Accord?

At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has higher mileage or incomplete service records. Focus on overall condition, signs of repair quality, and whether the car feels consistent with its maintenance history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Accord?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,230 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 71.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,642, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $23,777 sits slightly below last year's $24,953.

That price movement suggests the Accord has softened a bit in the used market, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to sell later, the same trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and documentation. Well-kept examples should still attract steady interest because the Accord remains a practical, widely recognized sedan.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 71.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,506, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,777 average.
• It offers a more elevated feature set with added trim variety and strong safety focus.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $23,834, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $23,777 average.
• It brings a redesigned, more engaging take on the Accord with strong safety credentials.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2022 if you want the best balance of price movement, owner satisfaction, and broad market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2021 is the better value play; if you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay a bit more, the 2023 is the stronger upgrade path.
