You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a thorough inspection of the truck’s condition and equipment. What is the 2022 GMC Sierra 3500HD's resale value?

The current average of $54,610 sits slightly below last year's $58,287.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more strategically now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited if prices continue to soften. For a seller, the current trend points to a truck that still has demand, but not the kind of rapid appreciation that would strongly favor waiting. Condition, configuration, and mileage will matter a lot when it comes time to resell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
