How much does the 2022 Ford Transit Cargo cost?

Prices have softened 9.15% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,308 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2022 Ford Transit Cargo a good car?

With no expert test-drive score provided here, the best read is the market data: the 2022 Ford Transit Cargo is trading at $28,487 on average, and that price sits below last year’s level. That suggests you may have some room to shop carefully rather than rush into the first listing you see.

The market also shows 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful pool of stronger-value options to target.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Transit Cargo?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the van has seen heavy commercial use or frequent loading. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and signs of wear that could affect long-term reliability and operating costs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Transit Cargo?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,308 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 75.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,487, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Transit Cargo's resale value?

The current average of $28,487 sits slightly below last year's $31,357.

That price movement suggests the model has softened enough to help you buy more carefully today, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well you maintain the vehicle. If you plan to sell later, keeping mileage, condition, and service history in strong shape will matter more when the market is already trending lower.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Transit Cargo or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 75.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.15% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing and available inventory, the 2022 is the year to focus on first. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may also want to compare nearby years to see whether a lower-priced alternative gives you the features and condition you need at a better entry point.
