How much does the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E cost?

Prices have softened 7.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,851 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Mach-E options to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

Generally — the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E earns a 4.3/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its outstanding performance, smooth driving experience, and stylish design, and many also appreciate the tech features and extensive charging network. For you, that means this model year fits especially well if you want an electric SUV that feels more engaging than purely utilitarian. With 42.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding one priced competitively.

Is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also highlights a dependable-feeling driving experience, with praise for smooth operation and a trouble-free ownership impression in everyday use. That said, used buyers should still think carefully about long-term ownership risk because this model year has known issues that can affect confidence if you skip a thorough pre-purchase check.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on condition and any signs of prior damage or repairs. Because this model year has known issues, a careful pre-purchase inspection matters even more than usual. Pay close attention to how the vehicle presents overall, and make sure the example you choose has been maintained well and checks out cleanly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E?

It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, with meaningful inventory and a softening price trend working in your favor.

• Deal availability: 42.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,851 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.03% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E's resale value?

The current average of $25,532 sits slightly below last year's $27,462.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make future resale a little more sensitive to mileage, condition, and equipment. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell. Demand should remain supported by the model’s strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal among EV shoppers.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 42.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.03% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $22,921, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $25,532 average.
• It offers a bold first-year take on the Mach-E formula with strong style and driver appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $29,853, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,532 average.
• It adds range and BlueCruise improvements for a more advanced EV experience.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the best all-around choice if you want a strong mix of price, owner satisfaction, and market availability. If your budget is tighter, the 2021 is the better value play, while the 2023 makes sense if you want the newer updates and can stretch for them.
