Used 2022 Dodge Charger for Sale nearOklahoma City, OK

How much does the 2022 Dodge Charger cost?

Prices are up 6.80% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 4,389 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2022 Dodge Charger a good car?

Yes — 4.58/5 from owners, which points to strong overall satisfaction. The expert rating is 8.00/10, and the standout strength is Performance at 10/10.

Drivers consistently praise the Charger for its powerful performance, spacious interior, and enjoyable handling. The Scat Pack variant gets especially strong enthusiasm for its acceleration and engine power, while the car’s roomy cabin helps it work as more than just a straight-line machine.

The trade-offs are familiar: the interior quality and comfort can feel behind the price, and the cabin design is aging. Even so, if you want a traditional gas-powered performance sedan with real everyday usability, the Charger still fits that brief well.

Only 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market is selective rather than flooded with bargains.

Is the 2022 Dodge Charger reliable?

Owners rate it 4.58/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback also points to a car people can count on for powerful, enjoyable driving over time, with repeated praise for its strong performance and everyday usability. The expert evaluation reinforces that sense of durability in use, describing the Charger as a car that keeps its composure and remains engaging even as the miles add up.

If you’re buying used, the main long-term ownership risk is that age-related wear and maintenance costs can matter more than the car’s basic mechanical appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Dodge Charger?

At 74.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-performance trim. Focus on condition, maintenance records, and signs of hard use, since this model’s appeal often attracts enthusiastic driving.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SXT comes with a V6, power-adjustable front seats, rear parking sensors, cloth upholstery, a six-speaker stereo, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The GT adds a rear spoiler, sport-tuned suspension, performance tires, an Alpine premium stereo, navigation, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen. Higher trims add V8 power and more performance hardware, while the Hellcat brings supercharged power, upgraded brakes, and more luxury equipment.
• Powertrain: The lineup ranges from a 3.6-liter V6 to 5.7-liter, 6.4-liter, and supercharged 6.2-liter V8s. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and the V6 models are also available with all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is strongest with the V6 and weakest with the supercharged V8s.
• Safety package: Standard equipment is limited to a backup camera and rear parking sensors. Available driver-assistance features include forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, rain-sensing wipers, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: The standard screen is 7 inches, while an 8.4-inch Uconnect screen is optional on the base SXT and standard on the rest of the lineup. Both support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The V6 with rear-wheel drive returns 19 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 23 mpg combined. With all-wheel drive, it returns 18 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined. The 5.7-liter V8 returns 16 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. The 6.4-liter V8 returns 15 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 18 mpg combined. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 returns 12 mpg city, 21 mpg highway, and 15 mpg combined.

Which 2022 Dodge Charger trim should I buy?

The 2022 Dodge Charger is offered in 7 trim levels: SXT, GT, R/T, R/T Scat Pack, Hellcat, Redeye, and Jailbreak.

Here's the short version:

• SXT: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Charger’s core formula with the V6, standard infotainment, and basic convenience features. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup, but it’s also the most stripped-down version.
• GT: This is the better-value pick for many shoppers because it adds sportier suspension tuning, performance tires, a rear spoiler, and the larger 8.4-inch screen. If you want a more complete daily driver without jumping to V8 pricing, this is the trim to focus on.
• R/T: This is the first V8 trim, so it’s the right choice if engine character matters most to you. It keeps much of the GT’s equipment while adding the 5.7-liter V8, making it the gateway to the Charger’s traditional muscle-car feel.
• R/T Scat Pack: This is the enthusiast sweet spot if you want a major jump in power and hardware without going all the way to the supercharged models. It adds the 6.4-liter V8, launch control, a high-performance suspension, a limited-slip rear differential, Brembo brakes, and extra comfort features.
• Hellcat: This is the full-blown performance choice, with supercharged V8 power, upgraded brakes, and the Widebody setup that improves cornering and control. It’s the one to buy if outright speed and track-ready capability matter most.
• Redeye: This is for buyers who want even more extreme output than the Hellcat, along with improved engine cooling. It’s the most serious step up in straight-line performance before the special-edition top trim.
• Jailbreak: This is the most powerful and most exclusive version in the lineup, with the supercharged V8 tuned even hotter. It’s the one for buyers who want the most extreme Charger experience available.

The safety package is limited on lower trims, so if driver-assistance features matter to you, check equipment carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Dodge Charger?

The market looks moderate and selective, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,389 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.80% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 74.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,782, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Dodge Charger's resale value?

The current average of $28,903 sits slightly above last year's $27,062.

That upward move suggests the Charger is holding demand better than a declining-price model would. For a future seller, that’s a useful sign: buyers still value the car’s performance identity, and that helps support pricing when the vehicle is clean and well kept.

The year-round range also matters. If you buy near the low end and maintain the car carefully, you give yourself a better chance of preserving value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.58/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Dodge Charger safe?

The Charger earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

This is a car that shows its age in safety equipment. Standard features are limited to a backup camera and rear parking sensors, and the backup camera image is described as grainy and pixelated. Available driver-assistance features include forward-collision avoidance, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, rain-sensing wipers, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

If safety tech is a priority, you’ll want to verify exactly which options are installed on the used example you’re considering.

Should I buy a 2022 Dodge Charger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 74.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 6.80% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.58/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The expert review highlights a rare, old-school performance sedan with strong everyday usability.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $26,611, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $28,903 average.
• It offers a roomy, practical muscle-car feel with broad appeal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,882, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $28,903 average.
• It adds final-year appeal and a more send-off-like sense of occasion.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, performance, and availability, the 2022 is the primary target. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2021 is the smarter value play, while the 2023 makes sense only if you want the final-year cachet and are willing to pay more.
