The 2022 Chrysler 300 is an understated-yet-confident premium sedan. It shares underpinnings with the Dodge Charger and has the presence of a muscle car on date night. The sun has not yet set on the 300, but it could be discontinued for or after the 2023 model year. For 2022, Chrysler has streamlined the options and features offerings. The Chrysler 300 comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 292 horsepower. In the 300S, this engine’s output is boosted to an even 300 horsepower. The 300S can also be had with an optional 5.7-liter V8 that makes 363 horsepower. All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic, routing power to the rear wheels or available all-wheel drive. Fuel economy estimates for the 2022 Chrysler 300 have not been made available at the time of this writing. Standard safety features are pretty basic for a new car in 2022 and include airbags and a backup camera. You can get features such as forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear-cross-path detection, and adaptive cruise control, but you’ll have to buy at least the Touring L trim. Base MSRP for the 2022 Chrysler 300 is $31,770 for the Touring trim. The Touring L starts at $34,520, and the range-topping 300S starts at $41,575.
